AWS using CLI script with in cloud formation Template

Can we somehow use cli script with in the cloud formation template? I want to give a name to kinesis stream created through the template. Since it won't allow that (means you cannot specify a name for the stream when you create it through the template) I somehow want the template to use the cli to create the Stream as the cli takes stream name from the user. Like the Ec2-init

Is it possible??
